To know CILT is to love CILT.

In 1999, I was introduced to CIT and passed my Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE) in Logistics in 2001 as a Top Five Achiever during the 1st CILT Malaysia Convocation. Upon gaining Chartered Member status, I was appointed as the Assistant Secretary General, I post I held from 2003 to 2007. I’m honoured to be the first Woman in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT) Malaysia chairperson, appointed in 2012 and serving until 2015. I am the former Chairman of Education and Continuous Professional Development (CPD), and was appointed the Global WiLAT Vice Chairperson for Southeast Asia on 1st January 2019.

I have enjoyed an amazing journey as a CILT Malaysia council member, PQE Logistics facilitator, Panel auditor and Final Project Presentation (VIVA) for College, University and Training Providers’ academic programs accredited by CILT Malaysia. I am proud to have been part of WiLAT Malaysia’s collaboration on a national project with the Ministry of Transport (MOT) Malaysia.

I have enjoyed sharing my logistics experience, notably at the 2nd WiLAT Conference held in November 2018 in Chang Sha, Chinam, and as guest speaker for Halal Logistics in Food Supply Chain at the Philippine Halal Expo in August 2019, visiting South Korea, Indonesia, Pakistan and India. I look forward to visiting more conferences through CILT.

I’m passionate about serving my region through networking in this industry as a logistician.  I want to share my enthusiasm for educating, connecting with people and inspiring them to be better. My aspirations in “Life-Long-Learning” (3L) and “Choice-Chance-Changes” (3C) endeavours is a continuous effort to improving myself and to educate, mentor and inspire others to live life to their fullest. Finally, I hold strong to my life tagline: smile and be grateful always.
