Capt S M A Mahmoodi, Honorary Secretary of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) in Pakistan was presented with a gold medal at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Awards, on behalf of the Maritime Training Institute.
The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry is a body representing all the chambers of commerce and industry of Pakistan. Originally the Federation awarded only Export Trophies but from 2012 consideration was also given to service organisations through the FPCCI Achievement Awards
The Maritime Training Industry won the gold medal award for an impressive third successive year in recognition of their
dedication and continuous efforts and exceptional initiative to enhance standards in shipping through education and training in the region
The award ceremony was held at the Pearl Continental Hotel on 1st Oct 2015 where the prestigious Gold Medal was presented to Capt Mahmoodi by the President of Pakistan Mr. Mamnon Hassan
