In conjunction with CILT Australia, the ATA is proud to announce four key sessions at the 2024 Technology and Maintenance Conference.
TMC is the trucking industry’s premier national gathering of technical professionals, fleet and workshop managers, technical regulators, mechanics and service technicians.
Join the event on the 22nd October, to discuss the new and likely future rules for construction trucks and 2.55 metre Safer Freight Vehicles.
You’ll also get detailed guidance on how to fit side underrun protection and conspicuity marking, as you experience–
- Safer, more productive trucks – hear about how the Safer Freight Vehicle width changes are being implemented and the proposals for higher truck mass and width.
- Safety standards for construction trucks – In this session, you’ll get the details of the new CLOCS-A standard and find out how governments are already improving road safety as they build major infrastructure projects.
- Side underrun protection: what you need to do – referring to the ATA’s new technical advisory procedure (TAP) on side underrun protection, learn more about what the protection devices are intended to do and hear more about ATA’s guidance on side underrun protection, including clarifications sought by users.
- Making trucks more visible – following the new TAP on conspicuity markings, get comprehensive advice for applying conspicuity markings and gain an understanding of their safety value and how to apply retro-reflective tape to a range of vehicle types.
