CILT International Hosts Delegation to Explore Trade and Innovation Opportunities with Langfang City
CILT International recently hosted representatives from Langfang City and CILT China, alongside invited guests from the UK, for an engaging event focused on strengthening international cooperation and exploring opportunities for future trade and innovation.
Held as part of ongoing efforts to build strategic partnerships, the meeting showcased the unique advantages of doing business in Langfang. Centrally located within the Beijing-Tianjin-Xiongan golden triangle of logistics, Langfang offers an aviation economic zone, direct access to Daxing International Airport, and both a free trade zone and the only cross-provincial bonded zone in China.
Langfang is no stranger to the global logistics stage, having recently hosted the CILT International Convention in 2024, a landmark event that brought together professionals and leaders from across the supply chain, logistics, and transportation sectors to share insights and shape the future of the profession.
Following the success of the 2024 Convention, Langfang is now preparing to host the upcoming CILT Langfang Conference 2025, set to take place from 16–20 June 2025 at the International Conference and Exhibition Centre. During the recent exchange hosted by CILT International, artificial intelligence was identified as a vital growth area with significant implications for the future of trade, logistics, and transportation. The session provided an open platform for discussion, with participants sharing insights and identifying areas for cross-border collaboration.
UK guests delivered presentations on their organisations, which were well received by the Langfang delegation. The event concluded with Mr Li Guoyong, Party Secretary of Langfang City, extending personal invitations to all guests to attend the Langfang Fair, held alongside the 2025 Conference.
