Celebrating Our March Volunteer of the Month: Engr. Clement Danyiwe Kubakwana, CMILT

We are proud to recognise Engr. Clement Danyiwe Kubakwana, CMILT, as our Volunteer of the Month for March. Clement’s remarkable leadership and dedication have significantly strengthened CILT Ghana and impacted the wider African region.
Since his election as Chairman of the Takoradi Section in 2022, Clement has driven transformative growth, expanding membership from 113 to 335 within three years and elevating the Section’s visibility nationally and internationally. His tireless efforts have positioned the Takoradi Section as the “Most Inspiring Section in Ghana” for 2024.
Clement’s influence extends beyond Ghana. He has actively collaborated with Next Generation Nigeria and other West African sections, organising workshops and panel discussions that connect young professionals with industry leaders like ast Secretary General, CILT International, Keith Newton and CILT International President, Chief Teete OWUSU-NORTEY. His network has empowered emerging talent across borders and earned him the nickname “CILT West Africa President.”
Under his leadership, the Takoradi Section has successfully hosted over 70 programmes, including educational trips, seminars, and CSR projects such as support for the Sekondi School for the Deaf. Clement also played a key role in bringing the 2023 CILT Ghana AGM to Takoradi, marking a historic first outside the capital city.
His visionary approach has fostered strong corporate partnerships and cultivated future leaders by mentoring emerging executives within his Section and guiding the newly established Tarkwa Section.
