CILT Buzz | September 2025 Edition: Building Cyber Resilience
CILT Singapore has released the September 2025 edition of its CILT Buzz magazine, focusing on the critical theme of building cyber resilience. This issue examines how digital threats are reshaping logistics, transport and supply chains, and explores strategies to strengthen security and governance in an increasingly interconnected world.
Chairman’s Message
Singapore proudly celebrated its 60th National Day with a vibrant parade attended by leaders from Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia.
On the trade front, while baseline and reciprocal tariffs with the United States appear stable, uncertainties remain regarding sectoral tariffs on semiconductors and pharmaceuticals. To help businesses and stakeholders adapt, Singapore’s Economic Resilience Taskforce (SERT) has launched its Economic Strategy Review (ESR), designed to navigate shifting global trade flows and regional supply chains.
As a major transhipment hub, Singapore is also closely monitoring the potential impact of the US’s proposed 40% transhipment tariffs on Chinese-origin goods routed through Singapore to the US market.
