CILT International Seeks Honorary Treasurer and Trustee
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Register Number 313376, is a charitable body and professional association headquartered in London. Founded in 1926, CILT operates in more than 40 countries, including the UK.
Often known as CILT International, the Institute represents professionals involved in the movement of goods and people. Our purpose is to promote the arts and sciences related to logistics, transport and supply chain management. We are a global community of like minded professionals committed to advancing the profession.
The Role
We are seeking an Honorary Treasurer, who will also serve as a Trustee on the Council of Trustees (our Board).
The successful candidate must:

Be a member of CCAB or CIMA

Have substantive experience in supply chain, logistics, freight, manufacturing or public transportation sectors
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:

Sound board behaviours

Collegiate decision making

A strong understanding of assurance, risk and sound financial governance in an international environment
This role is voluntary and pro bono.
