Ruth began her career with Goldman Sachs, before moving into teaching Chemistry. It was through this career move that she was able to take up positions in Malawi and the United Arab Emirates; spending seven years in these international settings afforded her the opportunity to learn about different cultures and work with people and children from across the globe.

Having returned to the UK several years ago, Ruth worked in a large educational charity, supporting whole-school improvement to drive attainment for disadvantaged young people, before moving into designing and managing a range of Master’s programmes in Leadership and Management. Having studied for a Master’s in Education and International Development, she is an experienced line manager, is skilled in relationship management with Higher Education Institutions, and has worked successfully in a matrix manner with Sales and Marketing teams to position educational products in relevant markets and drive learner uptake.

Ruth will draw upon her wide range of educational management skills and experiences to support existing Branches, Territories and Training Providers in their educational offering. Ruth will be working closely with Zoe Roberts, International Education Services & Development Manager, whose role will continue unchanged, along with her added responsibilities, since Jon Harris’s departure from his full-time role.
