The 3rd China International Logistics Development Conference will take place in Suining City, Sichuan Province on Monday 31 October 2016.
The theme of the conference is Connectivity, Win-win and Sharing
International delegates will be invited to a welcome dinner on the evening of Sunday 30 October with the Opening Ceremony following on the morning of 31 October. The conference will include International Speakers, addresses, presentations and discussions and will conclude with dinner in the evening.
Four CILT International Guest Speakers will address delegates on Monday 31 October:
Liam Cassidy, Managing Director of LCL Consult Ltd will discuss How to Survive and Thrive in Today’s and Tomorrow’s Manufacturing Environment
Ho Wai Lim, Senior Director, Global Program Management for Huawei will consider Supply Chain Success through Collaborative Development and Internet of Things as Enablers
Mr. Henrik Christensen, Co-Founder and Advisor to Management Board and Chairman of Silk Route Rail Ltd will talk about The Railway Challenges on the New Silk Road
Hoong Chuin Lau, Professor of Information Systems and Director of the Fujitsu-SMU Urban Computing and Engineering Corp Lab at the Singapore Management University will present Enabling Win-Win and Sharing in Urban and Multimodal Logistics: Research Challenges and Technology
CILT International Secretary General Keith Newton will also address the conference
On Tuesday 1 November delegates will witness the launching of Women in Logistics and Transport (WILAT) China. Professor Wang Derong, Executive Vice President of China Communication and Transportation Association will open proceedings and WiLAT Global Advisor Dorothy Chan will update the conference on the structure and activities of CILT’s successful women’s group. Li Tong, Chairperson of WiLAT China will then share some of the future plans for the new group
