Celebrating a Decade of Dedication: Zoe Roberts’ Journey with CILT
As we honour Zoe Roberts’ 10-year milestone with CILT, her journey stands as a testament to commitment and growth within our organisation. Zoe joined CILT in April 2014 in a part-time Administrative Support role, initially working 12 hours a week. However, as the demand for CILT’s training programmes expanded globally, Zoe’s responsibilities grew, quickly increasing her hours to 25 per week.
Reflecting on her journey, Zoe says, “When I started, I could never have anticipated how quickly the demand would increase, and I was excited to be part of something that was clearly growing.
Zoe’s role evolved into a dedicated Education position, managing certification and accreditation processes and cultivating strong relationships with training providers. This role demanded financial oversight as well, which she took on with enthusiasm. By 2017, the number of training providers had doubled, leading to her transition to a full-time role as Education Services and Development Manager. In this capacity, Zoe managed all education, administrative, financial, and certification inquiries, becoming an essential touchpoint within CILT’s global network.
The growth was phenomenal,” she recalls. “In a few years, I found myself managing twice the number of training providers, each with unique needs. It was challenging but incredibly rewarding.
Since 2023, Zoe has collaborated closely with International Education Manager Ruth Francis, further solidifying CILT’s education team and its global impact. She credits CILT’s progress as a powerful motivator:
Seeing the organisation expand and new roles being created has been inspiring. It shows that we’re moving forward and making a difference in the industry.
Looking ahead, Zoe has set her sights on an operational role, where she aims to take on impactful projects that drive development. At the same time, she remains dedicated to supporting training providers with their academic needs.
My hope is to contribute even more strategically to CILT’s growth, all while ensuring that our training providers receive the highest level of support,” she says, with an eye on the future.
Congratulations to Zoe on a decade of remarkable service to CILT! We look forward to witnessing her continued impact and leadership in the years to come.
