Important Visa Information for the CILT International Convention 2024, Langfang China.
CILT International Convention 2024 will be held in Langfang, China from 16th – 18th June under the theme Leading Global Sustainable Development in Logistics and Transport.
The Convention will focus on the development of global trade logistics and provide a platform for exchange and cooperation among industry insiders and enterprises from all countries.
We are keen to help as many delegates as possible travel to China and participate in the event, therefore we urge all delegates to make their visa application as soon as possible. Delegates should also note the cancellation charges detailed on the event website.
In an effort to facilitate delegate applications, CILT China have provided visa advice and information on the event website, and will provide letters of invitation to support visa applications to delegates who provide the following information to IC2024@CILT.mo.
- Full name on passport
- Title
- Employer and job title
- Passport number
- Date of birth
- Scanned copy of passport information page
- Email address
- Residential address
- The name and contact information of the local Chinese embassy/consulate/visa center (as some countries may have more than one embassy/consulate/visa center, representatives must provide the above information)
Delegates are advised to:
- Check visa requirements for your area and see whether an entry visa is needed for China; and whether a visa is needed for your transit flight
- Consider your visa application as soon as possible. It is recommended that visa application should be made at least two months in advance
- As the requirements of the Chinese embassies in each countries are different, we recommend international delegates to contact their local Chinese embassy/consulate/visa center in advance to obtain the latest local Chinese visa application requirements. CILT China will provide the necessary assistance upon request
- Maintain close contact with the visa issuing authority to identify early indication of problematic cases as they may affect the visa approval of the whole batch of applications
- Consult the local embassy/consulate/visa center in advance to see whether they need the invitation letter of the authorised unit. If so, all application materials should be submitted before 20 April 2024
Whilst there can be no guarantees about visa approvals for all participants, and all applications will be assessed according to the official Chinese government criteria and requirements, we hope that collectively we can assist as many delegates as possible in submitting favourable applications.
