Position: International Membership Manager
Location: Home-based with ability to travel internationally
Reports to: Secretary General, CILT International
Remuneration: £56,700
Employment Type: Full-Time (possible 4-day option)

The Chartered Institution of Logistics and Transport (CILT) International, the premier global professional body for logistics, supply chain, and transport professionals, is looking for a dynamic and visionary International Membership Manager. With 26,000 members spanning almost 40 countries worldwide, we are at the forefront of influencing policy and providing cutting-edge knowledge and education to our members.
Your mission:
As our International Membership Manager, you will be the driving force behind our international membership growth and retention. You will create innovative strategies, build meaningful relationships, and implement best practices across markets. You’ll be the key to proactively identifying opportunities for new Branches in key geographies and supporting our existing international branches, developing targeted marketing campaigns with tailored membership value propositions that captivate and retain members, while enhancing their overall experience.
What you’ll do:
You’ll foster strong, direct relationships with members and branch leaders, understanding local needs and addressing them effectively. Your role will be pivotal in transferring successful strategies across branches, leveraging international marketing resources for powerful local initiatives. You’ll encourage student members into full membership, developing and marketing compelling international membership packages, and collaborating with our Forum Committees to engage younger professionals. Your expertise in data analysis will guide our strategic planning, identifying growth opportunities and shaping the future of the Institute.
What we’re looking for:
We seek a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully entering new, international markets, providing membership management and business development within an international, or multi-Branch organisation. Experience within a Membership. Trade Association of Professional Body is desirable. Your excellent communication skills, data analysis application, and stakeholder engagement abilities will be key. We’re looking for someone motivated, innovative, culturally sensitive, and adaptable. Culturally sensitive, adaptable and flexible with a willingness to travel are essential.
