CILT Nigeria Newsletter: Edition #13

In this latest newsletter, CILT Nigeria honored Ghana’s High Commissioner, H.E. Vice Admiral Seth Amoama, for his exemplary leadership, strengthening regional ties in logistics and transport excellence.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Nigeria (CILTN) continues to uphold its commitment to recognizing distinguished leadership and fostering strong regional collaborations in the logistics, transport, and supply chain industries. The CILTN delegation, led by the National President, Barr. Mrs. Mfon Ekong Usoro, FCILT, and the International President, Chief Teete Owusu-Nortey, FCILT, honored H.E. Vice Admiral Seth Amoama, Ghana’s High Commissioner to Nigeria, with a Fellowship recognition during a courtesy visit.

The visit, which took place a day before the CILTN Annual National Conference in Abuja (held on October 8-9, 2024), was part of efforts to strengthen ties and recognize distinguished leadership in logistics and transport. The official Fellowship plaque was presented to H.E. Vice Admiral Seth Amoama, by the CILTN, Abuja Branch delegation, led by Chairman, Dr. Emmanuel Onwodi, FCILT and Rt. Gen. Ibikunle, FCILT on January 16, 2025.

Vice Admiral Amoama, a seasoned diplomat and former Chief of Defence Staff, was appointed Ghana’s High Commissioner to Nigeria by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

His outstanding contributions to Ghana’s military and diplomatic service made him a fitting recipient of this honor.

During the presentation, Barr. Mrs. Usoro praised the High Commissioner’s exemplary service, stating, “H.E. Vice Admiral Seth Amoama exemplifies the values and leadership that CILT seeks to celebrate. His commitment to excellence is a beacon for all professionals in the field.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Nigeria looks forward to further collaboration with the Ghana High Commission in fostering regional growth and promoting excellence in logistics and transport.
