CILT Next Generation Seeks Americas Regional Chairperson
CILT’s Next Generation Forum is inviting expressions of interest for the role of Americas Regional Chairperson, offering an emerging professional the opportunity to help shape and grow the Next Generation community across North America and the wider Americas region.
The position provides a platform for early career professionals working in supply chain, logistics and transportation to contribute to the development of the profession while helping strengthen connections across CILT’s global network.
The successful candidate will represent the Americas within the international Next Generation community, working alongside peers from other regions to support the forum’s strategic direction, engagement activities and professional development initiatives.
A leadership opportunity for emerging professionals
The role is open to professionals aged 32 or younger who are living and working in the Americas and currently working in, or closely connected to, the supply chain, logistics and transportation sectors.
The appointment is for a three year term and is a voluntary leadership position that offers the opportunity to gain experience working within a global professional network.
During their tenure, the successful candidate will also be required to register as a full member of CILT.
Key responsibilities
The Americas Regional Chairperson will:
• Build and lead a regional management team for the Next Generation Forum
• Oversee a budget supporting regional activities and engagement initiatives
• Collaborate with global Next Generation peers and CILT leadership
• Participate in the Global Steering Committee chaired by Next Generation Global Chairperson, Dianah Nassimbwa
About the CILT Next Generation Forum
The CILT Next Generation Forum, established in 2012, was created to strengthen engagement with professionals who are building careers in the sector.
The forum connects students, graduates and early career professionals working across supply chain, logistics and transportation, providing opportunities for professional development, collaboration and leadership.
Through regional initiatives, webinars, networking opportunities and industry engagement, the Next Generation community helps support the next wave of professionals entering the sector while strengthening CILT’s global membership network.
