A Chartered Engineer and Chartered Logistician, Steve has been a member of CILT for over 30 years and a Fellow for nearly two decades. He currently serves as an International Vice President and Trustee of CILT International, alongside his role as a Trustee and Board Member of CILT UK.

Steve has spent his career developing technology for the transport and logistics sector. He leads a software business providing systems used internationally, from platforms managing high value freight movements to automated systems processing millions of UK customs declarations each month.

His wider entrepreneurial experience spans transport operations and vehicle safety technology. Steve co founded a regional bus operator which grew to become the third largest bus company in the West Midlands, and later established a UK provider of AI driven vehicle and driver safety systems. He has also held board roles across housing, community development and industry organisations.

For Steve, CILT International has an important role in bringing the profession together across borders. He believes that establishing global professional standards, building strong communities and delivering genuine value for members are fundamental to the Institute’s future.
