What skills will Australia’s transport and logistics industries need in the years ahead, and how can the vocational education and training sector respond?

CILT Australia welcomes representatives from Industry Skills Australia for a webinar exploring the workforce trends and skills challenges affecting aviation, maritime, rail, road transport and logistics.

As one of Australia’s ten industry led Jobs and Skills Councils, Industry Skills Australia works with employers, unions, governments and the vocational education and training sector to support workforce development across these industries.

Drawing on extensive national consultation, the session will examine where skills needs are emerging, the challenges facing employers and workers, and how industry and education can work together to build a safer, more resilient and sustainable workforce.

The discussion will also provide insight into the collaborative solutions being developed to ensure training and workforce planning continue to reflect the changing needs of the sector.
