Overview
Risk assessment is the combined effort of:
- Identifying and analyzing potential (events that may negatively impact individuals, assets, and/or the environment (ie hazard analysis)
- Making judgments on “the tolerability of the risk on the basis of a risk analysis” while considering influencing factors (ie risk evaluation).
This course aims to explain the process to identify potential hazards and analyse what could happen if a hazard occurs Asses the risks and devise mitigation tools to manage these risks

- Explain what is meant by control measures
- Understand the basics of accident reporting
- Identify risk management techniques
- Outline a disaster recovery plan
- How to communicate to the organisation
