Call for Speakers: CILT Conference at Automechanika Johannesburg 2026

CILT Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe invite speakers to share insight at Automechanika Johannesburg, shaping innovation and collaboration across Africa’s logistics and transport sector.

CILT Namibia, CILT South Africa and CILT Zimbabwe are inviting speakers to take part in the upcoming CILT Conference at Automechanika Johannesburg, taking place at the Gallagher Convention Centre this October.

Under the theme Driving Innovation: Bridging Borders for an African Future, the conference will bring together professionals from across the logistics, transport and supply chain sectors to explore how the industry can evolve and collaborate across the continent.

This call for speakers is an opportunity for industry experts, researchers and practitioners to contribute to a forward looking conversation that reflects both the challenges and the opportunities shaping Africa’s transport and logistics landscape.

We are seeking presentations that offer practical insight, clear thinking and real world relevance. Submissions should address key themes including transport corridors, harmonisation, safety and security, and innovation and entrepreneurship.

Proposals should demonstrate expertise while offering actionable perspectives that can support industry development, inform policy and strengthen cross border collaboration.

To apply, please submit:

  • your name, job title and organisation
  • a short professional biography
  • your proposed presentation title and abstract, up to 250 words

All submissions must be received by Friday 29 May 2026.

Taking place on 28 and 29 October 2026 in Midrand, the conference provides a platform to share knowledge, build connections and contribute to shaping the future of logistics and transport across Africa.
