Celebrating Our Volunteers: Introducing the Chief Teete OWUSU-NORTEY Volunteer of the Month Scheme

CILT launches the Chief Teete OWUSU-NORTEY Volunteer of the Month initiative to honour outstanding volunteers. Nominate now to celebrate their dedication and impact!

At CILT, our global network is powered by dedicated volunteers who give their time, expertise, and passion to support the growth and success of our profession.

To recognise and celebrate these outstanding individuals, we are excited to launch the Chief Teete OWUSU-NORTEY Volunteer of the Month scheme, an initiative to honour those who go above and beyond to contribute to CILT and the wider supply chain, logistics, and transportation industry.

This scheme is a legacy project of our International President, Chief Teete OWUSU-NORTEY, FCILT, FGIPS, reflecting his commitment to recognising and celebrating the dedication of CILT volunteers around the world.

What is the Volunteer of the Month scheme?

Each month, we will spotlight an exceptional volunteer who has demonstrated:

  1. Impact – How has their work positively influenced CILT?
  2. Commitment – Have they consistently supported CILT’s activities?
  3. Innovation – Have they introduced unique or creative ways to contribute?
  4. Mentorship – Have they gone above and beyond to support more junior members?

How to Nominate

We invite branches and members to nominate outstanding volunteers via our official submission form. Each submission must include a completed letter from the nominee’s branch confirming their good standing and membership status.

Nominations for our first volunteer of the month will close on Friday 21st February, with the winner announced from Friday 28th February. The nomination and announcement dates will vary each month, so please check back regularly for updates.
