CILT International Launches Three New Professional Programmes to Advance Skills in India’s Logistics, Transport and Supply Chain Sectors

CILT International announces new professional qualifications in Pharmaceutical Supply Chain, Healthcare Logistics, and Port Operations, enhancing professional skills and addressing emerging industry needs across India.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport International has proudly represented and developed our profession for over 100 years. Our charitable objective sits at the heart of what we do and guides decisions about where we go; “to promote the art and science of Logistics and Transport”. There are many ways in which CILT International works to meet this goal, with one such pillar being education and training. Human capital development is a complex problem, but many acknowledge and agree that an increase in resources for any nation is not enough on its own to truly harness full economic impact. Economies must have appropriately skilled and knowledgeable people in its workforce.

Since a launch of CILT International education in South India in 2017, thousands of students have studied for CILT International qualifications – building their knowledge and skills for maximum effectiveness in their careers.

As one of the most dynamic industries in the world, Logistics, Transport and Supply Chain is changing rapidly, and so, we must change with it if we are to fulfil our mission: CILT International education must evolve to meet the needs of our industry and the skills required within it.

As such, we are pleased to announce the launch of three new programmes in the Indian market. This pilot initiative is spear-headed by our local Service Delivery and Quality Assurance (SDQA) partner, The Institute of Professional Qualifications (IPQ), who work tirelessly to maintain the high quality of CILT International educational provision in-country, and to utilise their deep market understanding to identify skills gaps which we as an educational provider can fill. As CILT International, we would like to extend our thanks to the entire IPQ team for their time and effort on this valuable endevaour.
