Join the International Education Standards Committee (IESC): Help Shape the Future of Professional Learning at CILT
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is inviting expressions of interest for one position on the International Education Standards Committee (IESC).
The IESC plays a vital role in maintaining and developing the Body of Knowledge that underpins CILT’s professional status and qualifications framework. The Committee ensures that our education standards and qualifications reflect the evolving needs of the global supply chain, logistics and transportation sectors.
Driving professional standards forward
As our industry transforms, so too must the way we educate and develop our professionals. The Committee is currently overseeing an exciting project to refresh and broaden CILT’s professional qualifications from Level 1 to Level 6, ensuring they align with real-world developments and future skills demands.
The IESC’s governance role in this work involves guiding the plan, implementation and evaluation of the project, ensuring that every stage strengthens the professional foundation on which CILT members build their careers.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking one additional co-opted education expert to join the Committee and contribute their knowledge, experience and perspective.
Ideal candidates may have experience in areas such as:

Designing or delivering apprenticeships or occupational standards

Working within National Qualifications Frameworks

Teaching or learning and development at further or higher education level

Academic research or consultancy within logistics, transport or supply chain

Leading professional or corporate learning programmes
You do not need to be a CILT member to apply, though membership is advantageous. Meetings are held quarterly, and all members must submit a declaration of interest in line with our governance standards.
