Abstract
Steve Rinsler and Ben Waller set out to demystify the physical internet and explain what the internet of things can do to transport and logistics. They highlight some of the learnings from their ICONET project and set out a vision for the future and the mechanisms that will enable logistics providers to make this vision a reality.
