The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Maritime Business is a unique program offered by MERITUS University that enables a student to build a holistic understanding of the maritime industry from a business perspective. The modules offered under this programme allow a student to appreciate the eco-system of the maritime business both from the business as well as technical aspects. A unique feature of this program is the immersive experience that is available to students where they are required to sail on board training vessels owned by Halim Mazmin Group and become part of the crew. This will provide them the first-hand understanding of the industry.
In addition, the students will have the benefit of learning from the industry experts as they are brought in during various points of the programme to expose the students to some of the industry challenges and issues and possible solutions.
