How Retailers Can Reduce Their Last Mile Carbon Footprint

Abstract

Led by governments, many countries are fast reducing their carbon emissions. Some aim to run on 100% renewable electricity by 2030, and other governments plan to replace coal-fired power plants with renewable energy by 2042.

With the transport industry responsible for 19% of the country’s emissions, reducing carbon emissions is fast becoming a focus for retailers and carriers as well. David believes there are numerous ways the logistics industry can be leaders in sustainability and reduce their carbon footprint, particularly in the last mile.

In this webinar David McLean, CEO and Founder of leading agnostic Australian parcel collection point network Hubbed, shares the changes retailers and carriers can implement to make their businesses sustainable, as well as his own journey to building a carbon neutral business.
