When and why did you decide to become a member of CILT?

In 2010, actually I was meeting with the former Chairman of CILTHK in a worldwide networking conference. When he was coming to me, I still remember that was very interesting. He was telling me all the good things about CILT and encouraged me as a young member to join CILT. That was my start of joining a CILT life.

What are the benefits of being a member of CILT?

After I joined CILT, actually there are quite a lot of benefits to me including I have attended a lot of professional seminars, shared by the professionals in our industry on different topics. Actually I learnt a lot from them and also I can enhance my knowledge in this field. So, there are quite a lot of benefits including meeting some new friends at a similar age, and many people in senior positions in our industry. I would like to say there are quite a lot of benefits since I joined CILT. Fortunately, I was also nominated to capture the Young Achievers Award in Hong Kong back in 2013 and became Highly Commended in the International Young Achievers Award 2014.

I started learning more professional skills and attended some professional seminars and enhanced my knowledge in the industry. The company gave me a chance and promoted me to General Manager

What difference has being a member of CILT made to your career?

After I joined CILT, actually I made some good progress in my career of being a CILT member. Firstly when I joined, I still remember I was just a Regional Manager looking after the Far East Region for the company. And then because I started learning more professional skills and attended some professional seminars and enhanced my knowledge in the industry. The company gave me a chance and promoted me to General Manager and then few years later I become a Director and then later on, until now, I am in the main Board of Directors of the company.

For my service in the CILT, actually I am currently in the Young Professional Committee and also sit in the Logistics Policy Committee. So, for the future I would like to contribute myself more, and time for the CILTHK and also CILT International, to contribute what I have learnt and share my experience with the young members, encourage them to join the big family.
